Twin Rivers runners-up at Mallet Sport on the Broadwater

Mallet Sport on the Broadwater, hosted by the Southport Croquet Club, is always a popular event for our members. This year we had runners-up in both Division 1 and Division 2.

Geoff Hull was our Division 1 runner-up. Geoff progressed through his block undefeated to reach a final playoff against Ross Rille, who defeated him 7/5.

Ian Reed was our Division 2 runner-up. Ian also progressed through his block undefeated to reach a final playoff against Wolf Fettig, who defeated him 7/2.

All in all, it was a most enjoyable week of croquet and fellowship. Even the weather was almost perfect, and there were lots of lovely snacks to enjoy between games.
