esults from September
Brisbane South Region - Division 2 and 3 Golf Croquet Singles Tournament, 15th September
Four members from Twin Rivers were entered in this event, which consisted of four blocks of four players playing two rounds, then two rounds in graded blocks. All games were best of nineteen hoops with a one hour fifteen minute time limit.
Our members played very well under these conditions, with Maia McGhee finishing third overall, Maree Vesty fourth and Trevor Smith fifth. It was a very well run and friendly event, enjoyed by all who took part.

Wynnum wins the Wynnum/Twin Rivers Challenge again

Wynnum/Twin Rivers Challenge held 25th October
Try as we may, the challenge was again won by Wynnum. Ten of our members competed in this event, but we were out-played and hope to do better when we back up again next year.
Congratulations to Wynnum and thank you for a great day.
Hull and Pitman win Queensland Open Ricochet Doubles

Geoff Hull partnered up with Gaye Pitman from Stephens Croquet Club to win the Queensland Open Ricochet Doubles Championship, held over two days at Pine Rivers Croquet Club.
On day one the games were 2 hr 15 minutes in duration. Due to a carry-over from day one, all games on day two were shortened to 1 hr 45 min in order to fit them in.
In a rain-shortened match, Geoff and Gaye led when play was stopped due to lightning and thunder descending on the complex. The other finalists were from Ballina.
