Twin Rivers finally celebrates World Croquet Day

etter late than never – we finally managed to celebrate World Croquet Day after our first attempts were washed out.

Even though it was very cold, we had a great day. We played croquet in four blocks, and during byes we tested our mallet skills with some pretty tough games or helped complete the "flags of the world" puzzle.

Members from England, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Australia and NZ proudly wore the colours of their country of birth and brought along some traditional food for morning tea and lunch. A most enjoyable day.

Our block winners were Sue Fitzpatrick & Neville McGregor, Chris Byrne & Michele Reed, Maia McGhee & Sue Nock, and Elaine Berridge & Josiane Tissot.
