Twin Rivers celebrates its 11th birthday

hat a great day we had celebrating our 11th birthday last Saturday. The weather was perfect, there were lots of happy faces and, as always, plenty of good food to keep us fuelled up for the games.
Our Club Patron and local MP Bert van Manen and Karen Murphy, our local Councillor, also took to the courts, displaying their mallet skills and enjoying the challenge.
The first game was followed by morning tea that included the cutting of the cake by some of our founding members Trevor, Bev and Bruce, and retired President Ian.
Also joining the celebrations were our lovely annual visitors from Beechworth, Annette and Allan.
During byes we tested our mallet skills with various other fun games and devoured the nibbles.
Our croquet winners for the day were:
- Block A – Ron and Mike - Block B – Bev and Michele - Block C – Chris and Rod - Block D – Sue and Cas
Later in the day we were also joined by Elizabeth from Ingenia Lifestyle Bethania for the drawing of the raffle prizes.
We thank our sponsors Ingenia Lifestyle Bethania and Justea, along with Go See Touring, Woolworths Beenleigh and Sue Nock for donations.
