Twin Rivers club president Ian Every resigns

Club President Resigns

After serving as President of the club for several years, Ian Every reluctantly resigns due to continuing health problems.

Ian has worked tirelessly to finally see the club granted a lease on land at Bedford Park and at last a place for the club to call home. Ian saw the club move from place to place, but his 'never give up' attitude paid off, and he and his committee can be very proud of their achievement.

Ian was presented with a gift voucher and framed photo gallery of some of the many events in which he had participated. Vanessa Diskett presented Ian with a Certificate of Service and a letter of best wishes from our Patron, Bert van Manen MP, in recognition of his service to the community through the Croquet Club.

We now welcome our new President, Ron Schodel, and wish him the very best in his new role. Two more courts and a clubhouse are the next goals, so there is still a huge task ahead.
