Members enjoyed a lovely day of competition followed by morning tea and cake as we celebrated our 10th birthday.

Four founding members had the honours of cutting the cake: Beryl Schodel, Trevor Smith, Bev and Bruce Peters.

A special 10 year service badge and gift card was presented to our treasurer, Bruce Peters, and a gift card to Maia McGhee in appreciation for having served the club as secretary for the past 7 (almost 8) years. Maia has now resigned and handed over to our new secretary, Lesley Barber. Bruce continues on as our treasurer.

Unfortunately we didn't get to celebrate 10 years on our new courts as we hoped, but still had lots of fun. At the end of play, 6 players shared the lead but there were only two prizes, so names were thrown into a hat and Trevor Smith and Marre Vesty took home the wine. Maia McGhee, Ian Every, Peter Byrne and Di Michels were the other winners.
