Twin Rivers beaten by McIlwraith in Golf Pennants and Metro Wanders in AC Pennants

Division 3 Golf Pennants: Twin Rivers v McIlwraith

Division 3 Golf Pennants was played against McIlwraith on Sunday, with McIlwraith winning the day 8 games to 2. Well done to our Lynne, who won both her singles games.

It was so good to see how well McIlwraith has recovered after the devastating floods earlier in the year. The courts were a pleasure to play on and it was a very enjoyable day.

Thanks to McIlwraith for their hospitality.

Twin Rivers goes down 2–1 to Metro Wanders

Twin Rivers CC played the Metro Wanders on Saturday in the 2nd round of the AC Pennants. Metro Wanders won 2–1.

Three extremely hard fought and close games. Conditions were perfect for croquet, with tight hoops and lawns with character. Great harmony between the two teams as both look forward to the next round on the 17th September.

L–R Back: Roy Machen, Bruce McAlister.

L–R Front: Elaine Drennan, Elaine Berridge, Francesca De Wytt, Helen David, Kevin Melksham
