Tweed Heads starts the year with Friendship Days, Come and Try interest and St Patrick’s fun

Tweed Heads started the new year strongly with Friendship Days in early January, welcoming players from Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads Palm Beach, Murwillumbah and Ballina.

The general view was that the club should hold more fun meet and greet days. In early March, strong interest led to two Come and Try Days, which helped boost membership numbers.

To round off the first quarter, the club had a strong turnout for St Patrick's Day. James Owen, local member from Tweed Shire Council, joined in one of the games.

The club wished everyone a Happy Easter and good hooping.
