Thanksgiving gathering and a new introductory series at Merthyr
Merthyr hosted an impromptu Thanksgiving gathering with guests from Windsor Croquet Club. On Saturday, Week 1 of the four-week Introduction to Association Croquet series got under way.
t was an impromptu (American) Thanksgiving gathering at the club after play on Thursday, replete with pumpkin pie and guests from Windsor Croquet Club while some of their lawns are under remediation.
Saturday morning saw some of us up bright and early for Week 1 of 4 in our Introduction to Association Croquet series, put on by our club captain.
New faces continue to appear and re-appear at the club, which is always great to see. Lots to be thankful for, and at this time of year absent friends come to mind especially.
Be well!
