Sunny day of croquet, badges and working bee at Wynnum

Sunny day of croquet, badges and working bee at Wynnum

hat a beautiful day on the courts today. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky, and even with a slight breeze there was lots of fun and laughter.

At lunchtime we were all presented with a 100 year Croquet Queensland badge, then treated to a sausage sizzle cooked by President John. We were all very appreciative. What a lovely day, engaging with friends playing a sport we all share and love.

Then onto some hard work! Our large planter pots at the front of our patio had gone past their use by date, so new pots, soil and plants were installed. Huge thanks must go to all those involved. It was a big job.

Thanks must also go to Pat for his great work cleaning down our shelters with his gurney, assisted by Gordon. The shelters were shining in the afternoon sunlight. Great work.
