Steve O’Hare wins the Sandy Ridgway President’s Cup, plus one more from McIlwraith

Congratulations to Steve O’Hare on taking out the Sandy Ridgway President’s Cup yesterday, with Charles Mitchell a worthy finalist.

It was a fantastic final full of cheering, competitive spirit and great sportsmanship — croquet at its best!

Thanks to all our wonderful supporters for cheering from the sidelines, and a special thanks to Penny Jackson for refereeing.

Well played, Steve and Charles!

McIlwraith members shine at Windsor Golf Croquet Shield

Shield, smiles & a little bit of friendly rivalry!

The Annual Windsor Croquet Club Golf Croquet Shield was played today, with competitors battling it out in a Block of 4 Double Round Robin format.

A big McIlwraith shout-out to Graham Young, runner-up in Block B!

And in a lovely bit of Shield history… Peter Nicholson and Penny Jackson from McIlwraith were the inaugural winners when the Shield began back in 2015!

To our wonderful Windsor croquet friends — thank you for the fantastic support and warm hospitality. Another day proving that croquet is competitive… but the friendships are the real prize!
