Stephens takes first and second in CAQ Women's Singles; Pennants team enjoys good day at Eildon

Stephens takes first and second in CAQ Women's Singles

Last weekend at Noosa Croquet Club, Stephens finished 1st and 2nd in the CAQ Div 1 and Div 2 Women's Singles Championship!

Congratulations to Heather Knight, who lost only one game over the weekend, and to Rosemary Newsham, Runner-up.

As in the Men's, it was a close finish, with both winning 2 out of 3 games in the Final Block on Sunday. Net Points decided the result, with 40 to Heather and -5 to Rosemary.

Deidre Hardy (Laurel Bank) won the Plate, with Deltry Dickie (Bundaberg) runner-up.

The courts were great and the weather even better. Thank you to event manager Brian Rudd and the Noosa members who made us so welcome.

Stephens Pennants team has a good day at Eildon

The Stephens Golf Croquet Pennants team of Cesare, Kath, Maria and Maude had a good day at the Pennants at Eildon Croquet Club, Woody Point, last Sunday.

Maria and Maude played Pennants for the first time and had some singles and doubles success – well done!

Stephens won against Toombul but lost to Eildon.
