Stephens' Ralph Allan wins Windsor Cup Group 1

September and October have been busy months for many Queensland Association Croquet players. As well as the CAQ Div 1 Medal last weekend, they have played locally in the Windsor Cup and travelled to Adelaide and Melbourne for prestigious events.

In this post, we look at the Windsor Cup, a favourite annual event for many Queensland players. It caters for all Divisions of Association Croquet players.

This year, Stephens' Ralph Allan added his name to those of his club mates, Ernie Melville (2003, 2004, 2005, 2007) and Tom Knight (2010, 2011, 2012), who have won Group 1. Congratulations Ralph!

Ralph's success in the game is highlighted by noting that it was only in 2014 that he was playing in Group 4 and won.

Also from Stephens, well done to Geraldine Trivett, who was Runner-up in Group 4. Ernie Melville played in Group 1, Heather Knight in Group 2 and Ross Preston in Group 3.

Other group winners:

- Group 2 - Mike Bertram (Caloundra) - Group 3 - Susan Bertram (Caloundra) - Group 4 - Ken Barker (The Range-Maleny)
