Stephens pairs at Queensland Golf Croquet Doubles Championship

Some competition news from last weekend, the Queensland Golf Croquet Doubles Championship at Buderim.

It was excellent to see so many pairs from Stephens: Ralph & Ces, Geraldine & Rosemary, and Gaye, who teamed up with Tom from Wynnum.

Gaye and Tom were leading at the end of the first day but ended up tied on 9 games with Ralph & Ces, Terry & Graham, and Geoff & Gordon.

The winners, with 12 games won, were Laurie Simpson & Geoff Jamieson. In 2nd place, with 10 wins, were Murray Tinker & Peter Nicolson.

Well done to all who entered and congratulations to the winners.
