olf Croquet – Metropolitan Pennants
It was a nail-biter of a match in glorious sunshine at Stephens. The Graceville team took a decisive lead in the Doubles, only to be pipped at the post by a determined Stephens team in the Singles.
Hooray for the home team: Gerard (Captain), Maude, Jenny and Tony.
The final scores were:
- Graceville: 3 games and 33 hoops - Stephens: 3 games and 35 hoops
Many, many thanks to Referee Louise Johnston, who also handled the paperwork for the match.
