Stephens croquet club holds AGM and awards, and a party group praises its helpers

"I had a function at Stephens Croquet Club and it was the most fantastic experience! From the booking process, where Val and her team were very responsive with communication, to the venue, which is so immaculately presented, I would highly recommend this club for a function!

The helpers were very patient with our large group, teaching them the wonderfully interactive game. They were very helpful with packing up also, which I did not expect! Thank you so much Stephens Croquet Club!"

Stephens club AGM and awards celebrate a great year

Then on Sunday, we got down to business at the Club's AGM, Awards Presentation and party.

Thanks to our Patron, Cr Nicole Johnston, for attending and presenting the Awards. A happy crowd congratulated the winners and runners-up of the Club Championships in both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet, as well as the Ladies Highest Break and Most Improved and Encouragement Awards. We then celebrated with festive treats, drinks and a game or two of Golf Croquet.

Over the last year, under the leadership of President Val, the club has attracted new members, improved facilities, and had a great year of croquet, both Association and Golf. A couple of new faces have joined the Management Committee for 2020.
