Stephens Croquet Club 2020 awards lunch and AGM
Stephens Croquet Club held its 2020 Club Awards Lunch and AGM at Yeronga Services & Community Club. Club Patron Cr Nicole Johnston presented the badges and certificates.
t is always a pleasure to welcome our Club Patron, Cr Nicole Johnston, who presented the badges and certificates. Thank you for your other contributions too, Nicole.
In this Covid-19 year that has seen unique challenges for President, Val Layne, Stephens Croquet Club played for most of the year and showed that CROQUET is the perfect sport for physical distancing.
Well done to the club members who played in the Golf Croquet (Doubles and Div 2 Singles) and Association Croquet (Div 1 and Div 2 Singles) Club Championships.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it was decided to move the end of year celebration from the clubhouse to Yeronga Services & Community Club Inc. We were looked after so well, the food was good, the drinks cold and the air conditioning was appreciated on such a hot day.
Thanks to our patron for the lucky door prize (won by Cathy Campbell). Thanks, too, to Jacky Lynch for preparing the certificates and the other door prize (won by Jannene Wall).
