Southport Gateball players shine at Toowoomba competition

Our Gateball players at Southport Croquet Club travelled to Toowoomba for their annual Gateball Competition. It was a most successful result.

Kathie Grant and I played in the team with Toowoomba players because they needed us to make up the team. It was a really good combination and this team won that event. (Barbara on the left and Kathie 2nd from the right)

In the Gateball Doubles Competition, Julia Tai joined with Emma Mauceri to win the Final. In doing so they had to defeat two Southport players, Kerry Lamerton and Donna Nicholson.

Congratulations to all from our Southport Croquet Club.
