Shade awnings coming to Merthyr clubhouse, plus one more from Merthyr

Hello, Summer Sun!

Thank you to JAGA / Gambling Community Benefit Fund for supporting our long-anticipated project to install shade awnings on the clubhouse!

Special thanks to club members Adrian, Bob and Ian for leading the charge when we weren't quite sure this would happen in our lifetimes!

Merthyr Croquet Club holds 113th AGM outdoors

Hear ye! Hear ye!

MCC held our one-hundred-thirteenth AGM outdoors this weekend under the glorious shade of our new awnings.

From all reports the club is on the up, including: friendship and camaraderie, lawn maintenance and improvements, intro and full members, croquet skills development and coaching, growth of competitive and social players, hosting of private events, and club infrastructure upgrades, including a club flag and member name tags!

A moment to thank our outgoing executives: President Janelle M Winn and Secretary Robin Farr. Without their support we would not have accomplished many of these activities this year.

And to welcome in the new: a thank you to David B for continuing to serve as club Treasurer, welcoming Phillipa B as Secretary, with Zachary Kominar as President and Ian Harding as Vice-President.

Thank you to our club patron Cr. Vicki Howard and her team for their constant support and patronage of our magical little spot in New Farm Park.

We're looking forward to Brisbane 2032 and beyond. Come and join us for some fun!
