Sam Morris and Heather Knight runners-up in Mrs WR Pitter Cup

Mrs WR Pitter Cup: Sam and Heather runners-up

More Association Croquet results: the Mrs WR Pitter Cup for Handicap Doubles was held at Graceville Club. Two doubles pairs from Stephens Croquet Club contested the two-day event: the Preston Brothers, Neil and Ross, and Sam Morris & Heather Knight.

It was a tight finish, with several pairs tied on 4 wins out of 5. On net points, Margaret Powell (Graceville) & Paul Ekeberg (East Brisbane) were the winners, with Sam & Heather runners-up.

Thanks to Graceville for yet another very enjoyable event. It honours Mrs Pitter, who was a champion player in the 1930s.
