Now club member Ross Rillie, at 80, is again Captain of the Qld GC (Golf Croquet) team to compete in the National Inter State Series (ISS) at Cairnlea, Victoria, in September.
Also, a tribute to past member Gordon Matthews (who also featured in the newspaper article) who mentored Ross (and Helen) in earlier years and always showed his support to them.
