Randall White and Casey De Vene win Graceville doubles

Last Sunday, 27th June 2021, Graceville Croquet Club hosted a Golf Croquet Doubles Level Play Day.

We had a terrific response, with 9 croquet clubs from Brisbane and surrounding areas keen to play and win the competition.

The weather was perfect, and both players and spectators basked in the winter sunshine.

The games were fabulous to watch, with some amazing play and shots by all competitors. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner.

The competition was won by Randall White and Casey De Vene. Runners up were Cesare Crispigne and Ralph Allan. Well done and well played.

The partnership of Randall and Casey showed that croquet is not just for the older generation. Casey represents a younger generation who have found how exciting and competitive croquet can be. It really is a game for all ages.

These competition days would not be possible without our fantastic sponsors. Thank you to ARBOR Sherwood Retirement Village for their generous donation, and especially to Suella Seminara, Retirement Living Sales Manager, for giving up her time on Sunday to present the prizes to the winners.
