Queensland finishes third in Eire Cup in Hobart, plus one more from Stephens

The Queensland Team for the Eire Cup has returned from Hobart. Victoria and New South Wales were too tough to beat. Third is a great result. Congratulations!

Her Excellency Professor The Honourable Kate Warner AM, Governor of Tasmania, welcomed all the State teams at a reception held at Government House in Hobart.

Vice Captain Kathleen Colclough was a well-deserved winner of the Queensland Player of the Series trophy.

Stephens Croquet Club had two members in the team, Rosemary Newsham and Heather Knight.
