Queensland AC Squad 2025 wraps up four sessions

Q## ueensland AC Squad 2025

This year we held 4 sessions.

Session 1 Concentration on the basics and essentials, including how to build and control break play.

Session 2 How to become a precision player. Openings, leaves, lifts and ball movement were also covered.

Session 3 Triple peels and pegged out games.

Session 4 With two evenly matched teams, the Cowboys and the Dolphins played off in an Interstate Cup format match.

The purpose of the day was to give some of the new members of the squad a taste of what it is like to represent their state, and to provide our more experienced players with a reminder of what they should be focusing on.

A great day was had by all, with the Cowboys taking out the honours.

Special thanks to:

- Francesca de Wytt for managing/catering the event. - Shane Davis for setting the hoops. - Joy Wright and Michael Eddiehousen for filling in at the last moment. - Windsor and Stephens Croquet Clubs for hosting. - Jacky Lynch for baking for every session.
