Potential croquet stars brave the weather at Coolangatta
Despite dubious weather, eleven dedicated potential croquet stars braved the elements for a fun morning of instruction and play, followed by lunch and tall tales of victory.
Sharon organised a Croquet day today and this is what she shared.
‘Despite the weather being dubious, eleven dedicated potential future croquet stars braved the elements this morning. After some instruction on the objectives and the basic elements of the game, participants played a game. Amongst the competitiveness and striving to win, there was fun, applauding and laughter. A great morning was had by all. Many commented that they didn’t realise croquet could be so fun.
Many joined for lunch afterwards to discuss their excellent newly acquired croquet skills and commiserate their loss or celebrate their win. Tall tales of victory were communicated by all, as in croquet, everyone is a winner.’
