Playing croquet with a friendly club in Pasadena

was lucky enough to play GC and a little AC ("six wicket") in Pasadena, LA, a couple of days ago. A small club, but a very friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic group of players.

I was pleased to meet Mohammed Kamal (US croquet hall of famer!), who started playing croquet in Egypt aged 13. Other players I met at this club were David Collins (represented the US in the 1989 AC worlds), Giancarlo, and Spencer Hood.

Thoroughly enjoyable time had by all … including the squirrels.
