Pine Rivers pairs compete at Moreton Bay Doubles

n Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th, Pine Rivers Croquet Club had two teams go to Sandgate to play in the Morton Bay doubles tournament.
Lynda and Carol played together, as did Judy and Allen.
Lynda and Carol did very well. Not only did they play, but as referees in training they both had to referee many games over the two days. Congratulations ladies, I'm sure it won't be too long before you're qualified referees, Carol.

Pine Rivers Gateball team contests Max Stringer Memorial trophy

On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, members of the Pine Rivers Croquet Club Gateball team went to Sandgate to play in the Moreton Bay Teams Max Stringer Memorial trophy. Although we didn't bring the trophy home, the team did their club proud this year.
Robyn Guy joined the team for her first Gateball tournament and she did herself proud. Thank you, Robyn. I hope this is the first of many competitions you will join us in.
Our team was missing Allen, who joined Moreton Bay players to help Stephen's form a team, as Stephen's are very new to Gateball. We were also missing Karen, who had other commitments this weekend and was unable to make the tournament.
Rockhampton, Toronto and National Park took the trophy home. It was presented by Max's wife Judy, who is a member of Pine Rivers.
