Pine Rivers hosts 42 ladies from Y Ladies Group Lawnton

Today we hosted a lovely group of 42 ladies from Y Ladies Group Lawnton. They all enjoyed their time on the lawns playing croquet golf and Gateball.

Many of our members gave up their Monday morning to help make the day the wonderful success that it was. Gill, Helen, Paul, Bob, John, Jan W and Lynette were kept busy on courts 1, 2 and 3, while Judy and Max had a lot of fun over on the Gateball courts.

Morning tea was enjoyed after they all left the courts, with Jenny, Mary, Karen and Carolyn making sure the kettle was kept hot and the plates were full of very nice goodies to eat.

Ian and Karen did a great job signing everyone in and selling raffle tickets.

The maintenance team of Sep, Barry and Max did a great job of making sure the courts were at their best for today.

Councillor Cathy Tonks from Moreton Bay Regional Council also joined us. On behalf of Sep Hines, President, and all members of Pine Rivers Croquet Club, we would like to thank her for her ongoing support.
