Pine Rivers at the Gate Ball State Championships, plus one more from Pine Rivers

Morning all! Here are the results of our recent foray into the Gate Ball State Championships at Caloundra Mallet Sports Club.

Teams: Pine Rivers played 8 games. Results were won 3, lost 5. Bummer!

Doubles:

- Pine River Pineapples (Ros & Keith): played 5, won 1, lost 4. - The River Rats (Robert & Max): played 5, won 3, lost 2.

A pretty good result considering the effects of COVID-19 on training, and the fact that all the other teams had 2 or 3 subs so they could rest players, whereas we only had the 5 players with no subs, so no resting for us!
