Peninsula Plaque Golf Croquet Singles results

The third annual Peninsula Plaque Golf Croquet Singles tournament was held in warm and sunny conditions over the weekend.

With 8 players from Eildon and 8 players from other SEQ clubs, there was a good mix of experience, skill and enthusiasm.

With 14 x 1 hour games across the weekend for each player, it was also a test of stamina. After some very close games, the results were:

- Block A: winner Les Watson (Eildon), runner-up Geoff Hull (Twin Rivers) - Block B: winner Gabby Spencer (Southport), runner-up Jenee Molyneux (Eildon)

Thanks to the volunteers who looked after entering results, catering, washing balls and pegs, and all the other small things which helped make the tournament a big success.

Thanks also to the Referees who gave up their time to ensure we all followed the rules.

See you next year for the 4th Peninsula Plaque.
