Murwillumbah enjoys ricochet, regional wins and strong social play

Murwillumbah has enjoyed many fine days through a wet winter, with plenty of social play and competition. Ricochet pennants have been completed and were much enjoyed by those who competed.

From 13 to 15 August, a Ricochet Doubles Handicap was held at Murwillumbah with 12 players from Tweed Heads, Coolangatta and Murwillumbah. Tony Kaucic and Joy Hughes won, with Lorelle Parker and Gavin Clark from Coolangatta runners up.

At the Gold Coast Tweed Region 2025 Ricochet Championships, held at Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, Jan Neely participated and won on Tuesday 23 September, with Joy Manning runner up. The club thanked those who assist with catering and Juliet Emms for organising the crew. Dave Chapman and his lawn team were also thanked. Social play continues Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, with afternoon sessions Thursday and Sunday. Life Member Lance Turner visited recently.
