The match between Moreton Bay Green and Kew was highly competitive, with significant tension maintained throughout the final moments. Allen, batting at number 8, delivered a notable performance across two rounds. Ultimately, Kew secured victory with a score of 14/10.

Reflecting on this game, I am transitioning from my Queensland club and will be joining Kew, my new Victorian club.

Moreton Bay Gateball Thanks Ros Crowe for National Coordination

As National Gateball Coordinator, Ros Crowe has dedicated significant effort over the past two years to the coordination and management of the upcoming 2025 National Gateball Competition.

National Gateball Doubles a success at Lake Macquarie

National Gateball Doubles was held at Lake Macquarie Croquet Centre.

Competition was held over 2 fast-paced days in very hot, humid conditions. Participants travelled from Hong Kong, Japan, Pakistan, WA, Qld, ACT, Vic, NSW. All participants played to a very high standard.

Overseas participants brought new strategies for all to observe and learn.

Congratulations to Canberra’s Glen & Christina Whitehead on winning first place. Second place was won by Kaelan & Lee. A hard-won victory to the winners.
