Metropolitan Cup doubles played at Wynnum

The Metropolitan Cup was held at Wynnum today under glorious skies and with a full complement of players. It was a doubles match, level play. There were some extremely close games throughout the day with fierce competition, which kept Referee Liz very busy.

We were extremely lucky to have Therese Prebble, Manager of Metropolitan Funerals, with us to present the winners with a wonderful trophy and cash prize money. Thanks for your continued support and generosity, Therese.

The winners were:

- 1st: Bob Martin and Rino Parella - 2nd: Beryl Turner and Hisham Elkomy - 3rd: Ian and Michelle Reed

Congratulations to the winners and well done to all other competitors. It was a very successful day and we look forward to seeing you again on the courts in the next competition.
