Merthyr lawns prepped as pennants and lessons begin

Lawn prep is complete, as we swung the hoops around on both lawns this morning to avoid rabbit-runs developing after lots of heavy play! David celebrates the setting of the final peg on lawn 2 in the gallery below.

We're looking forward to hosting our pennants matches with Ipswich Croquet Club and Eildon Croquet Club next weekend! Also, many players were prepping for the Brisbane North Doubles Golf Event held tomorrow at Windsor Croquet Club. Good luck to all players!

Club Captain Greg kicked off his Saturday 9am introduction to Association Croquet lessons this morning, running for the next few weeks. Come and join us – public welcome!

And finally, David D and Bob took good advantage of our freshly-set hoops and played the inaugural match of our intra-club golf championship for 2019. Bob took it in the end with steady, consistent good play, 6-2. The drone took flight and snapped a few of the action from way up.

Always lots of fun people and activities about in New Farm Park!
