Merthyr members celebrate 2018 Christmas party

That's a wrap! It's time for merriment, to celebrate and reminisce on the joys and sorrows of the year!

Here are some moments from the Merthyr Croquet Club 2018 members' Christmas party.

Merthyr places 5th in 2018 Brisbane Metropolitan pennants

Congratulations to the Merthyr 2018 Brisbane Metropolitan pennants team on placing 5th overall this year! We've been on a great trajectory the past few years, steadily increasing our win count and having a grand old time while doing it.

The 2019 competition is being scheduled as you read this, so you've got plenty of time to show up to your local club in the new year and pick up the game! They're always hunting new talent to join the community!

Special thanks and mention to tournament organizer Geraldine Trivett of Stephens Croquet Club!

Week 4 wraps up Merthyr's introduction to Association Croquet

Final days! Week 4 of our introduction to Association Croquet wrapped up with players getting into a game and starting to realise the true depth of strategy and skill the game demands. Don't let that scare you away from starting your journey!

Thanks to club captain Greg Kerswell for his patience and tutelage while we learn the rules, jargon and etiquette. Additional workshops through next year open to all!
