Men's Singles Championship round robin begins at Eildon, plus one more from Eildon

The Croquet Queensland Men's Singles Championship round robin block event began at Eildon this morning under constant drizzle before concluding in blazing sunshine.

Congratulations to the 16 players, comprised of four each from Windsor and Wynnum, three from Eildon, two from Headland Buderim, and one each from Stephens, McIlwraith, and Burleigh Heads Palm Beach Croquet Clubs. Some great shots were played, with a few near misses as well.

The top four players from each block advanced to the Championship XYZ event, while the eight remaining players will compete in the Plate event.

Good luck to all the players over the next two days.
