elbourne Cup Day social at the club proved a great success, with lovely weather.
After morning croquet play, festivities got underway with complimentary bubbly or beer, followed by a lovely luncheon. Fashions on the Field was serious but also hilarious! Congratulations to Viv Lloyd and Kevin Leadbetter, who won the People's Choice vote.
There was lots of entertainment. Ross Rillie won the trivia quiz, and the bookies (Colin and offsider Helen) kept busy selling and paying out on sweeps.
Special thanks to the organisers, workers, and food and prize suppliers. Well done to the organising team.
