A great roll-up of players, helpers and visitors yesterday resulted in a very enjoyable event, the memorial for Francis, with friendly competition on the lawns, brilliant sunshine and a delicious lunch.

The games were close, but McIlwraith took the trophy home with a win of 10 games to 8. We will have to pull out all stops to wrest the McIlwraith trophy back next year.

With Stephens, McIlwraith and Francis's family, we had about 40 people enjoying the winter sun and playing a few games of Golf Croquet.
