McIlwraith members shine at Windsor Golf Croquet Shield, plus one more from McIlwraith

Shield, smiles & a little bit of friendly rivalry!

The Annual Windsor Croquet Club Golf Croquet Shield was played today, with competitors battling it out in a Block of 4 Double Round Robin format.

A big McIlwraith shout-out to Graham Young, runner-up in Block B!

And in a lovely bit of Shield history… Peter Nicholson and Penny Jackson from McIlwraith were the inaugural winners when the Shield began back in 2015!

To our wonderful Windsor croquet friends — thank you for the fantastic support and warm hospitality. Another day proving that croquet is competitive… but the friendships are the real prize!

Steve O’Hare wins the Sandy Ridgway President’s Cup

Congratulations to Steve O’Hare on taking out the Sandy Ridgway President’s Cup yesterday, with Charles Mitchell a worthy finalist.

It was a fantastic final full of cheering, competitive spirit and great sportsmanship — croquet at its best!
