McIlwraith lawns ready for return to play

ay 19: final stage of lawn prep was completed yesterday and we're ready for return to play today!

Introducing the "McIlwraith Hole Makers' Craft Group". Armed with ropes, axes, hammers, drills, saws and a crow bar (no lawn stood a chance), the team got stuck in setting the courts.

- Courts 1 & 3 done - Court 2 having a well-earned rest - Court 4 still to come

All under the watchful eyes of lead hoop setters Penny Jackson and Steve O'Hare (at right), with master craftspeople Andrew Cole, Graham Young, Ian Leivesley and Jeffrey Searle on the tools.

Huge thanks team – see you on the lawns!
