McIlwraith hosts Division One Golf Croquet Pennants opener

t's a big weekend for croquet in Queensland, and we were proud to host an opening round of the Division One Golf Croquet Pennants competition here at McIlwraith!

Our team took to the lawns in glorious sunshine for a great match against East Brisbane. As even the top players will tell you, one of the trickiest parts of playing Pennants is keeping score, and we were lucky to have a bit of expert help on hand!

Peter Nicholson, one of McIlwraith's leading players, was back on the lawns offering his support after a recent recovery. It was wonderful to see him back and part of the action again.

Thanks to everyone who came along. Keep the competition coming, Div 1ers!
