McIlwraith Blue wraps up Division 3 Pennants against Eildon
McIlwraith Blue finished the Division 3 Pennants competition with a win on games against Eildon Croquet Club. The real winner on the day, as always, was croquet.
cIlwraith Blue – Div 3 Pennants wrap-up!
What a great way to wrap up the Division 3 Pennants competition at the weekend, with our McIlwraith Blue team taking on our friendly rivals from Eildon Croquet Club!
As always, our Eildon friends brought plenty of friendly rivalry, wonderful sportsmanship, competitive croquet and a delicious contribution to morning tea!
The morning kicked off with a tussle in the doubles, followed by some closely contested singles matches. There was plenty of great play, good humour and friendly banter along the way!
McIlwraith Blue came away with the win on games, but the real winner on the day was CROQUET!
A big thank you to our friends at Eildon for another terrific day of competition and camaraderie. It's days like these that remind us why we love this game!
Great competition, great friendships and great croquet!
