Max Stringer Memorial Trophy played at Deception Bay

Today the Pine Rivers Gateball team went to Deception Bay to play in the Moreton Bay teams competition. The trophy was the Max Stringer memorial trophy.

The tournament was played in very good spirit even though the weather was horrendous. The game had to be stopped at 2 o'clock because the conditions were so bad.

Moreton Bay Green won, which made me happy as the trophy will stay at Moreton Bay.

As Max's wife, my family and I are very honoured that Max has been recognised so highly by the club he loved.
