Luxmoore wins CAQ Division 1 Medal

Here are the results from last weekend's CAQ Division 1 Medal – Association Croquet.

Dave Luxmoore (Burleigh Heads Palm Beach) blitzed the field on both days and pegged out in every game to win the event.

Greg Bury (Windsor) was runner-up and only dropped the game against Dave. Congratulations to both.

In the Consolation block on Sunday, Don Close (Gracemere) won all three games and Heather Knight (Stephens) was runner-up.

CAQ Treasurer David Housden made the presentations.

The weather was perfect for croquet and Stephens' Jacky Lynch did an excellent job in her first Venue Manager role.

Many thanks to the hoop setters, Bruce and Ross, for their early morning efforts, and to the referees, Liz Fleming, Bruce Fleming and Donna Manning.
