Dave Luxmoore made it 'two in a row' at the 2019 CAQ Gibson Memorial Medal, held at the Coolangatta and Burleigh Heads Palm Beach clubs last weekend.

Dave (BHPB) was the clear winner of Block A and completed 3 Triple Peels on Saturday.

Lindsay David (Graceville) narrowly defeated Greg Whymark (Bribie Island) in Block B. Both finished with 4 wins, but Lindsay took it on net hoops, 44 to 42.

In her first Gibson Medal, Yuni Rowell made an impressive 3 wins out of 5 games in Block A.

Stephens was represented by Ralph Allan and Heather Knight.

Many thanks go to the volunteers at each of the hosting clubs for making it a great weekend for the competitors. The Final was refereed by Robert Smillie (ably assisted by Darcy).

Tournament Venue Managers: Gavin Clarke (Coolangatta) and Dave Luxmoore (BHPB).

Thanks also to the spectators for their interest and enthusiasm.
