oday we played Coolum in the Plate, eventually coming out winners.

Well done to Fran and Liz for hanging in there! Sam and Viv won 3 out of 4 of their games.

Gibson Medal won by Lindsay David at Caloundra

Over the weekend we hosted the Gibson Medal, with 16 entrants. Three of our members competed: Mike Bertram, Leigh Samson and Howard Williams.

After two days of intensive play, the winner was Lindsay David, with Bruce Fleming runner-up. The Plate was won by Don Close, with Chris Borlase runner-up.

Well done to Howard, Leigh and Mike, good effort.
