Men's Golf Open Singles results at Windsor

Players competing at the CAQ Men's Golf Open Singles at Windsor Croquet Club

The CAQ Men's Golf Open Singles was played at Windsor Croquet Club on 22-23 May.

The lawns were in excellent condition and the competition was played in great competitive spirit. I thank all players for their co-operation and for making this event enjoyable and problem free for the management. The event was tightly contested, with both the Championship and Plate results going to nett hoops.

The Championship was won by Lawrie Simpson from Eildon, followed by Peter Nicholson from McIlwraith and Brian Rubock from Wynnum.

The Plate was won by Ross Rillie from Headland-Buderim, followed by Bob Martin from Eildon and Graham McLean from Windsor. Congratulations to all players.

Thank you, Windsor members, for giving up this weekend and volunteering your time.

Willy Silk - Event Manager

(and congratulations to Willy for a great job over the whole weekend)
