Kevin Beard wins second Queensland title in two weeks

Kevin Beard (VIC) is having a great time in Queensland! He has won his second tournament in two weeks.

Last weekend at Eildon, he paired up with John Levick (NSW) to take out the CAQ Golf Croquet Doubles Championship, and this week he won the CAQ Association Croquet Singles Championship.

He has a chance to make it three in a row this coming weekend at the ACA Patron's Trophy at Wynnum.

Well done to the Stephens combination of Gaye Pitman and Tom Knight, who were runners-up to Kevin and John in the CAQ GC Doubles.

The final of the CAQ AC Singles was a close affair between Kevin and Claire Bassett (NSW). Lindsay David (Graceville) had a 'clean-sweep' in the Plate with 6 wins out of 6 games.
