Jacky Lynch undefeated at 2021 Windsor Cup

Hooray! No lockdowns to disrupt the 2021 Windsor Cup - Association Croquet.

Bright and early on Saturday and Sunday, everyone was ready to enjoy some friendly competition.

16 players in four groups, 10 clubs, 2 1/4 hour games and several close finish games (just like the AFL semi-final at the Gabba).

Stephens' Jacky Lynch in Group 2 was the only player to finish the weekend UNDEFEATED. Well done Jacky and great that your handicap has improved to 5.

Group 1: Winner - Lindsay David (Twin Rivers), Runner-up - Greg Bury (Windsor)

Group 2: Winner - Jacky Lynch, Runner-up - Rosemary Newsham (both Stephens)

Group 3: Winner - Ken Wallman (Bribie Island), Runner-up - Hedi Trask (Toombul)

Group 4: Four wins each but 23 - 16 hoops run Winner - Jennifer Brand (Cambridge, WA), Runner-up - Elaine Berridge (Twin Rivers)

Many thanks to all at Windsor Croquet Club and to the Event Sponsor, Pauline Nurser (Life Member and Club Patron).

Also, thanks to the Referees - Terry Ericson, Willy Silk, Greg Kerswell and all the volunteers (hoop setters, results keepers, Covid cleaner).
