Ipswich wins inaugural Friendship Challenge over Stephens

esterday, a group of Stephens Golf Croquet players went to the other end of Ipswich Road to play at Ipswich Croquet Club in the inaugural Friendship Challenge. (Our club is on Ipswich Road in Brisbane.)

Everyone enjoyed the day in perfect conditions.

It was a close finish once again. Unfortunately, the 'Beyond the Black Stump' Trophy stayed in Ipswich, with Ipswich winning 8 games to Stephens' 7. Well done, Ipswich.

Jannene said they had called it "Beyond the Black Stump" because everybody thinks Ipswich is so far away…
